Digital Printing: specifications and production guidance

Print PDF documents, booklets, presentations and short-run materials with digital printing support from Click2Print® Lahore.

Available sizes and measurements

Provide exact finished dimensions, orientation, pages or panels and any folds. Supported press or sheet sizes are confirmed against the specific product and material.

Materials or deliverables

Specify paper, card, board, film or other required substrate plus weight, thickness, surface and intended use. Availability and suitability require confirmation.

Printing technology or workflow

Digital, offset or another documented process is selected from size, quantity, versions, material, colour coverage and finishing. A page title does not guarantee one production method for every specification.

Finishing options

Trimming, folding, binding, lamination, cutting and specialist embellishment are included only when the selected product supports them and the quote lists them.

File requirements

Supply the final approved file at the intended dimensions. A print-ready PDF is generally preferred; editable AI, CDR, PSD, EPS, SVG or suitable raster files may be reviewed by arrangement. Check spelling, names, dates, page order, codes and contact details before approval.

DPI and resolution guidance

For close-view raster artwork, 300 ppi at final size is a common target. Large-format work may use a lower effective resolution after scale and viewing-distance review. Changing only the resolution metadata does not add image detail.

CMYK and RGB guidance

CMYK is generally preferred for print artwork. RGB artwork may change during conversion. Identify spot colours and critical brand-colour requirements before proofing; screen appearance is not a guaranteed printed colour match.

Bleed and safe area

Bleed and safe-area requirements depend on the product, trim, fold, binding and production method. Confirm the required amount before export and keep essential text and logos away from trim, fold and binding edges.

Quantity considerations

State quantity per design/version and any variable records. Run length influences setup, waste, production method, unit price and schedule.

Production notes

Production begins from the approved specification and artwork. Material substitutions, proof requirements or schedule changes should be recorded before continuing.

Pricing methodology

Pricing is based on the complete specification, including dimensions, quantity, versions, material, print coverage, production method, finishing, artwork condition, packing, delivery, installation where relevant and applicable tax. A calculator result is a planning estimate unless a written quotation confirms it.

Delivery information

Pickup or delivery scope is confirmed per order. Suitable orders may be coordinated from Lahore for delivery across Pakistan, subject to product suitability, packing, courier availability, destination, charges and schedule. International shipping is reviewed separately and is not guaranteed.

Quality-control checkpoints

1. Record the approved dimensions, quantity, material, finishing and delivery scope.
2. Check artwork structure, resolution, colour setup, bleed and required safe areas.
3. Confirm names, numbers, dates, page order, barcodes, QR codes and variable data.
4. Use a digital or physical proof where the job and agreed workflow require one.
5. Produce from the approved specification and record material changes before continuing.
6. Inspect agreed finishing, count, packing and handover details before dispatch or collection.
